Creativity and Concept...

Our lesson on creativity and concept explored what creativity was, how it was defined.... and we were asked to come up with our own definitions of creativity. above are a few of mine.

Digital Tools.

One of our tasks for Digital Tools was to take photos of objects that we see everyday but don't really notice. One of the photos I took was of the doors at the front of my house, I really like the composition of the frame and how they almost mirror each other yet the second is slightly out of focus, giving the image depth. I'm hoping as I progress in the course my photography skills and camera skills improve.

My time at uni

I started my first year of uni this year - September 2011. Going to John Moores University in Liverpool, i will be studying 'Media Professional Studies' for 3 years.
I dont have a lot of experience, I haven't made any short films yet or worked for a media company. I have however, completed a week of work experience in Lime Pictures Studios in which I worked in the art and design department, helping to create the sets.... and since this time I have loved the media industy.
I have always loved the way a film or programme can captivate an audience and leave them on the edge of their seats through the use of camera angles, lighting and music and would love to be able to create that experience for someone else.
In the 3 years on my course, I hope to learn the skills possible to make this happen and even though i'm no sure of what aspect of media I want to go into regarding a job... whether its a director, editor or producer,
I am excited to see where what I learn takes me.
